Unsuitability
We recommend products only after assessing your financial goals, investment horizon, income, liquidity needs and risk profile. A product may be unsuitable for you if, for example:
- its risk level (as shown on the scheme riskometer) is higher than your assessed risk profile;
- its recommended holding period is longer than your investment horizon or liquidity needs;
- it would over-concentrate your portfolio in a single scheme, sector, asset class or fund house;
- its minimum investment, lock-in or exit load does not match your circumstances.
If you choose to invest in a product that we consider unsuitable for your profile, or that you select on your own without our recommendation, we will inform you of this before the transaction, record your decision, and may ask for your written confirmation that you are investing at your own discretion. Investments made on an execution-only basis are not covered by our suitability assessment.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme related documents carefully.
